When you visit our Denton garage you can be sure of two things. The first is that your car will be repaired, serviced or put through its MOT by an expert in the field. Every mechanic in our Denton garage has spent years working on cars just like yours, and that means there isn’t a problem they haven’t come across and a solution they can’t provide.
The second thing you can take for granted is the friendliness of the welcome. Unlike some other garages we don’t make things as intimidating as possible in order to justify high prices. We go out of our way to keep our prices down and we make sure you know exactly what’s happening and why at every step of the process. Just to demonstrate exactly how welcoming our Denton garage is, we’re going to take this opportunity to answer a few of the questions that customers often ask us:
Why does my car need servicing and how often should I have it done?
Regular servicing costs are a drop in the ocean compared to the expense of inconvenient breakdown fees and repairs often required to non-serviced vehicles. Having your car professionally serviced allows you to make sure that your car is running, and stays running as it should be. Our checks allow us to recognise problems before they develop into a major costly repairs.
We recommend a small service every six months or 6,000 miles whichever comes first and this includes oil change and 27 other pertinent checks. (List freely available on request).
FULL service (List also available) covers many more items and should be done as recommended in your Manufacturers Service Book.
SMALL SERVICE £110.00. INC VAT.
FULL SERVICE. £260.00 INC. VAT.
All Pugbitz services include the offer of FREE MOT (RRP £54.00) on any car at any time to your convenience. There would be an added small charge for extra or Special Low Saps Oil if required.
We only use genuine parts and would not recommend otherwise.
What if I fail my MOT?
It’s illegal to drive without a valid MOT and this rule applies if your car has failed its test. If your existing MOT certificate is still in date you’ll still be allowed to drive the car. If it has lapsed, however, the law states that you can only drive your car in order to access the repairs you need to get it through its MOT, and then to the MOT test itself. If you take your MOT test at our Denton garage you can be certain that our staff will explain exactly how and when you’re allowed to drive your car.
Do I need to use named parts?
Named parts are specifically designed to work with your car, and carry the manufacturer’s guarantee with them. We always use named parts wherever possible, as we truly believe they improve the quality and durability of our repairs, and the fact that we work to keep costs as low as possible means that they don’t necessarily represent the most expensive option.
If you’ve got any other questions then feel free to contact us or pay a visit to our Denton garage. Our friendly team will be happy to deal with your questions and offer advice. Just like performing the best repairs for the most competitive prices, we see offering advice to our customers as simply part of the service.
